"It's astounding, time is fleeting, madness takes it's toll, but listen closely, not for very much longer, I've got to keep control..."

I've been stuck in a time warp.
Last week I wrote this post.
It has been in my draft folder.

The past week has been a swirling vortex of time suck. I seem to be unable to accomplish anything. Each day my to do list gets longer and the scariest deadline of the year approaches.
We are five days from the Halloween parade and I have three costumes in various states of preparation, and a fourth costume to think up.

Mrs. G's birthday box remains unmailed. I hope to get it out tomorrow. I baked cookies for her. Every few days when I get ready for bed and realize it did not make the mail again, I eat the cookies, because they will only be stale rocks of sugar by the time they reach Alaska anyway. The next day we make her another batch. Then we repeat the cycle.

Sadly, Mrs. G's box is still here, unmailed.
The cookies were good.
You'll get fresh one's soon, Mrs. G!
I missed Stokes' birthday, too.
Happy Halloween to all. I'm off to the kids' festivities and then the parade, trick or treating and a party. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Time warps happen to all of us - at least the cookies didn't go to waste!

Happy Halloween - enjoy.

Don't worry about the cookies.
If you really want to give me a present, why don't you send me my governor back on November 4th.
